From dinner to dessert—now that we’ve painted veggies from Wheatsfield, we are on to the sweeter side of things. We will be visiting Chocolaterie Stam and learning to paint glass, candy, and other items for a decadent still life. It’s going to be a delicious summer!

getting ready for the Emerging Artist Show at Chocolaterie Stam on Mainstreet in Ames in early August. We have been painting glass, chocolates, wine, gelato and European landscapes for decadent still lifes.

Wearable Art Jewelry

Sara Dorn and Jo have joined forces with “wearable art” making jewelry out of Jo’s watercolor. Rhonda Scott will have her beautiful PMClay work also. We are getting ready for the Iowa State Fair showcasing the Left Bank Studio and friends with a booth boutique in the cultural building.

Aug. 12 through the 22nd, 2010, from 9-9, whew! thats a lot of demonstrations.
