Painted chair

I’m repurposing five of these chairs by spraying them white and adding decorative shapes, and taking them to my granddaughter’s birthday party where about twenty 14-year-olds will decorate them with paint and then donate to a local shelter (I’ve put my touches on this one to get them started). I think it’s beautiful that young women would enjoy an activity that will benefit others, rather than focusing entirely on receiving for themselves.

This might be a good project for you and your kids or grandkids to do together! You can think of things to create or repurpose at home, plus I’m offering “Grandma Camp” again this summer for people who’d like a creative outing with their grandchildren.
